After my first encounter with Naturopathic medicine, I knew immediately that it was my life’s calling. Growing up, I always had a keen interest in fitness and nutrition. During my travels in South East Asia, I was first introduced to Eastern medicine; a more natural approach to health care. My experience with Eastern medicine set in motion my quest to find my place in the health care field. Upon returning to my home province of Saskatchewan, I obtained my pre-medical education at the University of Regina. My studies eventually brought me to Toronto where I finished my naturopathic medical education at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Over the past several years of practice I have come to treat a variety of conditions including complex digestive issues, hormonal disturbances, stress management, mood regulation, fertility and labour support. First and foremost, I focus on treating the individual person that is before me, no matter what health condition they suffer from. My treatment approach draws on all the Naturopathic modalities with a specialization in Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Coaching, and Acupuncture. I believe in setting the stage for the foundations of health such as proper nutrition, and stress management and building from there. I am deeply honoured to do the work that I do, and my main goal is to educate and inspire my patients, setting them up for a lifetime of wellness.
